Mischa's Face

Here is a sonogram of Mischa taken earlier this month. You can see her really well; she is gorgeous. (in a chubby cheeks way)

Surabi

Poor Surabi had to go to the vet clinic yesterday around 6pm. We wont get to pick her up until Friday evening. She is getting spade and declawed, I hope she doesn't hate us too much when she gets home. I really didn't want to declaw her but with a baby on the way and how much she scratches when she plays we had to. It might be the pregnancy but I got all teary eyed when we drove away. Bryan didn't. He said she is getting what she deserves (in his defense she has been tearing up the carpet). Poor kitty. I miss her.

It's A Girl...

Today we found out what gender our child is. Here is a video of us finding out that it's a girl. We have had her name picked out for over a year now. She was always Mischa (mee-sha). The name Mischa means "who is like God?" It's funny because the name Mickaela also means "who is like God?" She matches her mom. In this video she is about 16 or 17 weeks along.

We are very excited about having a little girl. In many ways we wanted her to have a big brother but God decided otherwise and we trust His plans over ours.

(Sorry to all of those people who wanted it to be a boy!)

My baby bump

Everyone has been asking for pictures of my belly. So my sister Shayrah and my mother took some. My belly is not very big but it is there...

You formed my inward parts;

You wove me in my mother's womb.

First Look at Baby

My mother, mother-in-law, sister-in-law, and I looking at baby for the first time on February 27, 2009.  I know it took me a while to post this but in my defense I am still a full time college student.

I feel bad I did not answer Andrea, I don't even remember her asking me if it felt real seeing it. I assume that my lack of response means, "YES!" Although I still felt as though I was looking at some other person's baby. I definitely know the baby is real it's just hard to believe that it's mine. 

We are so thankful to God for what He is giving us.  

All good things come from You, O God.
